Jillmarie Stevens, 62, Anoka, MN, formerly of Bismarck, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The burial will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 22, at the North Dakota the Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Jill was born on July 22nd, 1963, to Terrence Stevens and Denise (Walz) Myers. She grew up with two brothers Michael Stevens and Danny Stevens, in Bismark. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s with majors in Psychology and Nursing while raising her two daughters.
She will be remembered for her bubbly, talkative, and energetic personality. She was very caring for her loved ones and would always put others before herself. She also loved to relax at home after a hard day working as an OBGYN nurse and traveling nurse. She showed leadership and excellence at her job and her coworkers loved having her around. She also served in the Army and retired as a Captain.
She loved to play Super Mario Brothers on her Super Nintendo Entertainment System and then later, on her Nintendo D.S. A favorite show of hers was Big Brother and she would never miss a season. She was very interested in learning about History and Geography. She loved to understand how things were connected and where historical events played out in the world. Her favorite movie was Back to the Future, and she enjoyed collecting some things from the movie. She loved having pets and grew up with a few Schnauzers and later owning five cats. She also loved to feed the critters around the house.
She is survived by her: husband Guy Gilbert Hanson, brother Michael Stevens, daughters Michelle Harris and Brittany Harris, and her son Michael Gilbert Stevens-Hanson.
She was preceded by her mother Denise (Walz) Myers, her father Terrence Stevens, and her brother Danny Stevens.
