Joe was born in Bismarck, ND, to Donald and Eilene (Weigel) Sabot on September 26th, 1966. He graduated from South Central High School in 1985 and then went to work on the Sabot family farm with his father and uncles.
Joe married Colette (Clooten) on October 20th, 1989. They were married for 31 years during which they ran cattle and raised crops. They had two children, Wyatt (Jessica) Keys and Morgan (John) Yoder. Though their marriage ended in 2021 the years spent together were cherished.

Joe had many hobbies including deer and pheasant hunting, all sorts of fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a playful sense of humor and always liked a small prank and laugh.
Joe is survived by his children Wyatt (Jessica) Keys and Morgan (John) Yoder; grandchildren, Marie Keys, Gavyn Yoder, Jordyn Yoder, and Linkyn Yoder; sisters, Annette Sabot, Denise (Dean) Roller, Lisa (Trent) Peterson; brothers, Leon (Lynn) Sabot, Roland (Linda) Sabot, Dean (Jessica) Sabot, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Eilene Sabot.
In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to be made in his memory to an account under Wyatt Keys and Morgan Yoder at Capital Credit Union to be put towards end of life costs.
