John Lawrence Masters, a tender hearted quiet man, came to planet earth on July 31, 1985, and left on November 26, 2025. Buffeted by cruel winds, this sensitive soul passed away far too young.

John, son of Larry Masters was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. There he attended high school and the Dunwoody College of Technology. Following the death of his father, he moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, in 2017. Like his father, John was a gifted mechanic, electrician, tradesman, and guitarist. His father said that you could see the intelligence shining out of John’s eyes as early as the age of two. Polite and hardworking, he was quick witted and perceptive with a keen sense of irony.

He leaves many friends and fellow workers who mourn his passing. His aunt Janelle Masters will grieve him forever, and his broken-hearted cousins will miss his solemn yet bright presence in the world.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Larry Masters, and his aunt, Dorene Masters Garnsey.

Good night, sweet prince, and may flights of angels sing you to your rest.

A funeral service will be held December 15 at 1:00 at Eastgate Funeral Service at 2302 East Divide Avenue, Bismarck.
