John Raymond Pearcy Jr, 78, passed away peacefully in Bismarck, ND on March 25th, 2023. 

Visitation for John will be held from 5:00 to 6:30p.m. with a prayer service starting at 6:30p.m. on Saturday, April 1 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave, Bismarck.  

John was born in San Francisco, CA on December 5th, 1944. He had a passion for serving and helping others. He served in the US Navy from 1963-1969 and then moved into a career in law enforcement where he served the Bismarck Police Department and Nevada State Penitentiary System for a total of over 40 years. 

On a double date set up by friends, John met Lois who would become the love of his life. John and Lois married in Williston, ND on May 11th, 1968. Lois had three young children who John took on as his own. 

John had many passions and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, and had an eye for model train sets. He and Lois especially enjoyed watching baseball and became avid baseball card collectors. 

John was preceded in death by his wife; mother; father; brother and great-grandson. 

He is survived by three stepchildren; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two sisters.
