Joyce “Peggy” Dockter, 88, Fargo, passed away on July 11, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 16, at the Wing Cemetery, Wing, ND.

Peggy was born on November 16, 1936 in McClusky, ND. She graduated from Wing High School in 1955.

Peggy married Leo Dockter on June 3, 1956, in Arena, ND. To this union, one daughter, Becky Haas, and son, Alan Dockter, were born.

Peggy enjoyed owning Doc’s Bar in Wing and also the Wing Hotel. She especially enjoyed hosting her Wisconsin and Kentucky hunters during hunting season. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Haas (Bob Gunderson), Mesa, AZ; and son, Alan (Carmen) Dockter, Horace, ND; grandchildren, Jessica, Evan, Courtney and Brandon (Brandy); great-grandchildren, Skylar and Brooks; and sister, Donella Engstrom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Dockter; sister, Brenda Olson; and grandson, Andrew Bullinger.
