Karon Schneider

Karon Julie (Eberle) Schneider, age 76, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer September 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 22, 1948, in Maddock, ND to Frank and Pauline (Burgard) Eberle. She was one of nine children raised on the family farm near Edmond, ND.

After graduating high school Karon married the love of her life, Jerome Schneider on June 18, 1966. Together they built an amazing life and legacy. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to Lisa, Scott, Wanda and Tonya. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, Diandra, Cierra, Jace, Margaret, Ariah and Kelcee. She was a source of inspiration and unconditional love. Karon's passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

Karon is survived by her loving husband Jerome, children, Lisa Vogel of Bismarck ND, Scott Schneider of Bismarck ND, Wanda Schneider (Doug Olson) of Moorhead MN, and Tonya Nichols (Blaine) of Bismarck ND. granddaughters Samantha Zimmerman, Megan Cloud (Curt), Diandra Hayden (Joshua), Cierra Marquis (Dillon) Margaret Olson, Ariah and Kelcee Nichols. grandson Jace Schneider. five great granddaughters and seven great grandsons and many more family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Pauline Eberle, father in-law and mother in-law Peter and Regina Schneider, sister Colleen Neis, brother in-laws Paul Neis, Roger Grigsby, Duane Thompson, sister in-law Patty Schneider and other family members that have gone before her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 27, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy Bismarck ND, with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bismarck ND with lunch to follow at the Tumbleweed Bar & Grill, 62 Santee Rd, Lincoln, ND
