Katherine Albrecht, 99, died August 8, 2018, at the Ashley Medical Center, Ashley, ND. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon, ND, with Pastor Susan Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Glueckstal Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Katherine Dockter Albrecht was born on November 7, 1918, in McIntosh County, ND, at Cold Water Township to Jacob and Magdalena (Wagemann) Dockter, the youngest of the Dockter children. She married Edward Albrecht on December 21, 1941 and moved to a farm south of Dawson in 1942. Edward died in February 2008 in Steele, and Katherine then moved to the Ashley Nursing Home. Katherine is survived by her four children, Allen, Harry, Rose Ann (Calvin) Rathfusz, and JoAnne (Larry) Stugelmayer; three grandchildren, Royce (Carolyn) Rathfusz, Andrea (Kim) Schimke, and Sheryl (Paul) Morrow; and one great-grandson, Aaron Schimke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; and her siblings.
