Kennetta Brousseau, 68, of Steele, went to heaven on February 10, 2023, unexpectedly at her home.

Cremation has taken place with a private family service.

Kennetta was born in Saint Paul, MN, on June 5, 1954, to Charles C. and Edna M. (Salter) Reynolds. She graduated high school from Omaha, NE, in 1972. She attended college at Wahpeton.

She met Jim Brousseau during the fall of 1972. They were married April 14, 1973, and made their home on the family farm.

Kennetta was active with many community activities and was a volunteer for charitable organizations. Besides her great love for her children and grandchildren, she was an avid dog lover and spent many hours reading, writing poetry, doing crafts and baking for family and friends.

Kennetta is survived by her spouse, Jim Brousseau; children, Troy Brousseau (Jeff Chaney) and Melissa Glatt (Jaycen); grandchildren, McKenzie and Jaxcen; mother, Edna (Salter) Reynolds; sister, Dennetta Hacker (Steve); and multiple nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles C Reynolds; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lloyd and Nannie Brousseau.
