Kevin Rasmussen

September 30, 1955 — January 2, 2021

Kevin was one of a kind. As adults in this world it is hard to find anyone who still holds onto child-like joy, faith in humanity and a soul too pure for this world. He was empathetic and understanding, patient and kind. His employees got to see these attributes of him on a daily basis. He was incredibly hard working, putting in long hour days even when he should not have. You would never know he was tired because he was the type of person who was happy to be moving around, very physically active, always helping others and doing it with a smile on his face.

His friends and family, far and wide, felt his love, enjoyed his laughter, his witty sense of humor, his Irish accented storytellings and constant reminders over voice and text of how much he loved us.

Kevin was born Sept. 30, 1955 in Idaho from mother, Violet Ann Nickerson, and father, Ray Vern Rasmussen. He completed two years of college in Idaho, enjoyed working the Rasmussen family farm with his father, Ray Vern, and his, Uncle Dee (who nicknamed him Bullhead). He did missions in Scotland and Ireland and held several managerial positions throughout Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota and North Dakota. He served on the school board while in Montana and was a member of the Lion's Club.

Kevin was a huge outdoors fan! He loved spending his free time hiking, camping, running and being near or on the water.

He was married to April Lynn Gutierrez in May 2017, preceded by Roberta Brinkerhoff in June 1980.

Kevin is survived by four children, Teresa (6/6/83), Quinn (1/2/85), Jennifer (8/28/86) and Kira (1/22/88); grandfather to: Joshua, Dallin, Leah, Evan and Aaron West, Jacob, Christopher and Victoria Rasmussen, Rylan, Thiago, Sariah and Nora Cruz, and Emily, Maximus, Calvin, Holly and Cora Brown.

Kevin was predeceased by Little Kevin (4/12/81-11/23/86) and Ray Vern Rasmussen (3/25/31-12/11/17).

At the young age of 65, God called Kevin home. His missions here on Earth were complete and he has done well... We will all miss his laugh, and oh what a contagious laugh it was. He was always looking forward to having more bright days ahead, no matter how dark some nights got. Now he will forever be with us all in our hearts and minds. We love you, Kevin.
