Linda (Parker) Anderson, born October 7, 1952, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. The service will be livestreamed through this site.

Linda was the daughter of Willard “Bud” and Marjorie “Boots” Parker and was raised in Garrison, North Dakota. After graduating from Garrison High School in 1970, she married her high school sweetheart, Greg Anderson, in 1973. Together, they established their home in Garrison, where they lovingly raised their children, Bryan and Brandee.

Throughout her 14 years at Bob Callies Elementary School in Garrison, Linda served with distinction as a secretary, taking on numerous responsibilities that were vital to the school's operation. A committed member of the Garrison community, she played an instrumental role in supporting the Garrison Trooper Basketball Camp, by managing t-shirt orders, handling registrations to help ensuring the camp’s success. Linda was a constant presence at sporting events, decked out in her fan gear and passionately cheering for her son Bryan in his activities, along with all of the Garrison Troopers teams.

Linda’s summers were filled with joy as she relished time spent at Lake Sakakawea, where she embraced her role as a capable boat captain, creating lifetime memories with her children as they enjoyed boating together. Known for her quick wit and sharp intellect, she was always eager to engage in spirited games of Trivial Pursuit. Linda's culinary skills and love for entertaining turned their home into a gathering place, where friends and family were welcomed, games were played, and no one ever left hungry. She also cherished family vacations, which often included traveling to wherever Greg was working, including three months in Hawaii. A dedicated San Francisco 49ers fan, she often took part in some fantasy football. Linda enjoyed reading and hosting family movie nights filled with laughter and love.

In 1998, the Andersons relocated to Peoria, Arizona, where Linda embraced the warmth of the sunshine, the pool and frequent visits of family and friends,

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Greg; her son, Bryan (Becky) Anderson; her daughter, Brandee (John) Bettinger; and her four treasured grandchildren, Parker, Piper, John Brody, and Lauren.; sisters-in-law, Maureen (Tom) Schultz, Paulette Anderson, Gayla (John) Schatz, Marsha (Joe) Bates and Mary Jo (Alan) Ness and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Timothy Parker; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, George and Marian Anderson and brother-in-law, Mark Anderson.
