Linda Moffit

Linda Moffit, 76, of Lincoln, passed away on May 13, 2025.

A time of gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND.

Linda (Sackman) Moffit, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at CHI St. Alexius Hospital on May 13, 2025.

A celebration gathering will be held May 20, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway.

Linda was born January 4, 1949, in Bismarck to Jacob and Shirley (Hannon) Sackman. She graduated from Bismarck High School and was united in marriage to Ronald Moffit on March 20, 1970. To this union, their precious daughter Kelsy was born.

Linda worked at the Doublewood until her daughter was born, after which she became a stay-at-home mom.

She enjoyed playing online computer games and watching late-night TV.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; son-in-law, Eric Cleveland; sisters Lana Sabot, Mary Pittsley, and Donna Brookins; brother Roger Sackman; brother-in-law, Raymond Moffit; sisters-in-law, Nancy Moffit, Jean Austad, Irene Reuther, Betty Grage, and Marcella Moffit; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kelsy and parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Margaret Moffit; brothers Jake and Larry; brothers-in-law, Doug Moffit and Lee Moffit; and sisters-in-law, Rose Ohlhauser, Shirley Lave, Jackie Dewald, Gladys Engebretson, Donna Houle, Susan Manson and her cat Lucy.
