Margaret B. Feist, 94, Bismarck, passed away February 11, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 17 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. A rosary/vigil service will be held at 4 p.m.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Margaret was born to Ralph and Odelia (Freid) Weber in Oliver County, the oldest of 11 children. She attended school through the eighth grade, and later obtained her GED in 1976.

On August 25, 1955 she married Erwin Feist and together they welcomed five children. In 1956 the family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Erwin’s career. Later, the family moved to Seattle, Washington until returning to Bismarck in 1972.

Margaret volunteered at the gift shop at St. Alexius and did housekeeping there. Later in life, she worked as an aide on a school bus until her retirement in 1996.

She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a great cook, and her family loved her cooking! Margaret was a member of Corpus Christi.

Margaret is survived by her children, Charlan (Ken) Jangula, Harlan (Aida) Feist, Georgia (Wes) Uttke and Darrell (Val) Feist; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ed (Joann) Weber, Bismarck, Ray (Cherie) Weber, Washington, Helen Kem, Oregon, and Lorraine Bauer, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; her parents; daughter, Geraldine Feist; grandson, Wesley Feist; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and siblings, Richard, Evangeline, Roger, Sam, Mary Ann, and Dorothy.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Edgewood Village for the wonderful care they provided to their beautiful mom.
