Marie Martha Oltman, 83, Mandan, went to Heaven on April 22, 2017. Private family services will be held. Marie was born in Wolf Point, MT, on May 11, 1933, to Charles Leroy and Gladys (Braaten) Baker. She attended Wolf Point High School. Marie married Carlton Oltman on August 19, 1950, in Glendive, MT, and was blessed with two children, Steven and Colleen. They lived most of their lives in the Wahpeton, ND, area. Marie worked as a cook at the country club and as a caretaker at the Boys home in Breckenridge, MN. She was a member of the Eagles. Marie was extremely talented in making quilts and making those around her feel loved and special. Marie is survived by her children, Steven Oltman and Colleen Sire, both of Wahpeton, ND; her grandchildren, Katy (Nathan Fair) Sire, Paul (Mikel) Sire, Jason (Katie) Sire, Keith (Melissa) Sire, Carlton Oltman and Mitch (Meredith) Sire; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Oltman; and her parents, Charles and Gladys Baker.
