Obituary

A Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

Mary Ahlgren, 76, passed away on October 31, 2026, following a three-month stay in the intensive care unit at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Mary was born on September 6, 1950, in Imboden, Virginia, to Nellie and Willie Stines. She married Wayne Ahlgren on November 22, 1975, in Oakhurst, California. Together, they shared nearly 51 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose family meant the world to her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The moments they shared and the memories they made will remain a treasured part of her family's story.

Mary is survived by her husband, Wayne; her four children, Mark (Camille), Lisa (Dean), Shaun (Mandy), and Brian; and her nine grandchildren, Damon (Annika), Luke, Brayden, Austin, Abigail, Lexi Jo, Gracie, Addisyn, and Asher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Willie Stines; and her brother, Jim Stines.

Mary's love for her family and the time she shared with them will be remembered always. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the special place she held in the hearts of her husband, children, and grandchildren will never be forgotten.

Forever loved, forever remembered.
