Marion Gomke

Marion D. Gomke, 86, passed away on February 3, 2025 at Missouri Slope Care Center.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM, Friday, June 20, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Family will begin greeting guests one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will be held on Sunday, June 22, at Zion Cemetery, Elgin.

Marion was born on August 12, 1938 to August and Olinda Gomke on a farm north of Elgin, ND. She was the second of eight children. In 1986, she moved to Bismarck where she volunteered for many years for Missouri Slope and the Salvation Army. She lived in assisted living for many years. The last two years she resided at Missouri Slope Care Center.

She was preceded death by her father and mother; sisters, Doris, Betty; and brother, Walter.

She is survived by her brother, Arnold and sisters, Nyla, Mavis and Ellen.
