Martha McCullough, 96, Bismarck, died April 19, 2019, at Touchmark on West Century.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 24, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Mark Ehrmantraut officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, and one hour prior to the funeral.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Martha was born March 27, 1923, in Elgin, ND, the daughter of Christ and Pauline (Kramer) Friez. She attended school through the eighth grade and later earned her GED. Martha married Boyd McCullough on April 4, 1944, at Mott, and to this union had one daughter, Linda. Following their marriage, they farmed until moving to California in 1952. The family lived in Grand Rapids, MN, before moving to Bismarck in 1954. Through the years, Martha was a homemaker, sales clerk, and worked at the Job Service print shop.

Martha enjoyed crafts such as crocheting and making felt fridge magnets; designing houses that were built from her plans, camping, gardening, traveling, shopping, cooking, and eating out at restaurants

Martha is survived by her brother, Harold Friez, Bismarck; one sister, Ruth Hendershott, Everett, WA; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda; her husband, Boyd; and her brothers, Herbert and Raymond Friez.
