Milo Gunderson, 77, Bismarck passed away in the early morning of Oct. 8, 2021.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, at The Capital Christian Center, 3838 Jericho Rd., Bismarck.

Milo R. Gunderson was born in Williston, ND and raised in Fairview, MT, and was no stranger to hard work and strong family values. After graduating from Fairview High School in 62’, Milo chose to serve his country in the U.S. Navy; upon returning to the U.S. a Vietnam Veteran, Milo married the love of his life Charlotte. Milo and Charlotte lived in many places throughout their life together, from Massachusetts to Nebraska, eventually settling down in Black Hawk, SD where they chose to plant their family roots.

Milo made a living by working strenuous, labor-intensive jobs and went on to build businesses of his own. Milo’s eagerness to support others, fueled by a pure heart, and coupled with his witty wisdom, undoubtedly made an impression on anyone who met him. He farted often and never forgot to enjoy a midnight snack. Milo was a loved influence, constantly encouraging others to strive towards happiness, adventure, and love. He will be remembered as a headstrong man, who’s kind heart and unique perspective always made people laugh.

He is survived by his loving family.
