Monica Reisenauer

Monica Reisenauer, 84, Bismarck, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 East Divide Ave.  

Burial will take place at a later date.

Monica was born on May 16, 1939, in Spokane, WA. She came to North Dakota as a young child and was adopted by Adolph and Anna Marie Reisenauer of New England, ND.

She was an employee of Land O’ Lakes for 38 years, retiring in 2000. During her retirement years she enjoyed volunteering for the Diocese of Bismarck.

Monica is survived by her son, Duane (Donna) Reisenauer; her grandchildren, Danielle (Rob) Fischer, Darcy (Ben) Mickelson, and Drew (Leslie) Reisenauer; great-grandchildren, Qua, Noah, Hannah, Titus, Shiloh, Duke, Kai, Penelope, Bert and Macy; and three sisters, Caroline, Angie and Helen; along with her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; her brother; two nieces; and a nephew.

Monica’s family wants to thank the 3rd floor nurses and hospitalists at CHI St. Alexius for their care, love and support these past two weeks.
