Nanette D. Heinert died April 4, 2023, at Mayo Clinic.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, at Parkway Funeral Service.

Nanette was born March 27, 1950, in Bismarck, ND, to George and Emma Claridge. She grew up in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1968.  She met Ted Heinert and they were married Nov. 26, 1971. She worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife for many years, from which she retired in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafting, and going on cruises with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; two sons, Darrin (Jenn), Bismarck, Nathan (Susan), Bismarck; five grandchildren, Aric (Zoie), Braden, Elizabeth, Kristina, Maddie; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Rylee; sisters, Irene (Jon) Hendrickson, Washington, Sally, Bismarck, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, George and Emma Claridge; brother, George Jr. Claridge; sister, ShirleyAnn; and brothers-in-law, Lawrence Willard and John Hagen.
