Ottilia “Tillie” M. Kuntz, 94, Bismarck, went to Heaven on August 30, 2017.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, September 9, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E. Broadway Ave., Bismarck, with Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating.Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, September 8, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.Tillie was born August 2, 1923, at St. Michael, ND, east of Linton, the daughter of Ignatz and Anna (Huber) Wolf. She graduated school from St. Michael and married Joseph Kuntz on August 29, 1945. The couple had four children, Lorraine, LeeRoy, Leslie, and Larry.Tillie lived on Bowen Avenue from 1954 to 1998, when she then moved into an apartment. She was a wife and homemaker, loved to garden, cook and read. She enjoyed ceramics and worked at Wilde About Ceramics. She also did daycare for many families. Tillie’s greatest accomplishment was to raise her children as honest contributors to society and not a burden to anyone.Tillie is survived by her three sons, LeeRoy (Kristina), Bakersfield, CA, Leslie (Pamela), Yucaipa, CA, Larry (Deborah), Bakersfield, CA; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Monte Serr.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorraine Serr; her husband, Joseph; her parents; her brothers, Joe, Michael, and Albert; and her sisters, Molonia and Christina.
