Patricia Richholt

March 20, 1951 — March 10, 2024

Bismarck

Patricia (Patty) Richholt passed away the morning of March 10, 2024 at home from complications of Covid. She was just 10 days shy of her 73rd birthday.

Patty will be deeply grieved by her loved ones. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren and would have done anything for them. She made friends wherever she went.

Patty was born in Bismarck on March 20, 1951. She was one of four siblings. She attended Bismarck High School but ultimately earned her GED. She went on to have three children - Melissa, Adrian and Michael. Patty loved being a mother and eventually learned phlebotomy in Florida and became a highly sought after phlebotomist in the Bismarck healthcare system for many years. Patty loved spending time with her grandchildren, baking for others - she excelled at orange cookies and caramels - watching Yellowstone on repeat, spending time with her cat Maggie and listening to all types of music but the music of the 60's and 70's were her favorites.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Turnbull (Andrew Ranum) of Oregon; her son Michael McClary (Jessica Stiefel) of Bismarck, ND and their five sons - Steely, Payten, Liam, Milo and Eli; her sister Pam Clooten (Jim) of Beulah, ND; her brother Jeff Richholt (Mary) Bismarck, ND; her brother Timothy Richholt (Liz) of Alberta, Canada; her granddaughter Darien Greeson of Alabama; her aunt Lois Mark of California; countless nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Maggie.

She is preceded in death by her father Gerald Richholt, her mother Ruby Meyer, her husband John Siems, her uncle Kenneth Meyer, her adored son Adrian Allen and all of her previous precious cats.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. Those close to Patty knew she suffered from a lifelong battle with addiction and those demons are laid to rest.
