Obituary

Patricia Ann Trottier was born on December 4th 1958, and went to be with her Lord on May 17th 2026.

Her childhood was spent in South Carolina and then as a young adult she joined the United States Navy, where she traveled the world. Her service was one of her greatest acts of love, for through service she helped transform the community.

Even after she left the service, she remained active within veteran service organizations, as well as providing transportation to veterans to attend VA appointments. She settled in Bismarck/Mandan, North Dakota in the late 1980s, where she instantly built a strong faith-based love for her community, neighbors, and all she encountered.

She filled every hour of her life by sharing her gifts from God by creating beautiful macrame, designing one-of-a-kind cards, painting beautiful scenery, mastering the skill of carpentry and woodworking and ultimately loving life.

She loved all animals, children, and humans in general. Her neighbors adored her and she instantly created an extended family amongst them.

She is survived by her brother William Stephen Raper and his wife Norma Lee, Aunt Hollis Murphy, Uncle Willard and Becky Taylor, Uncle Bernell and Marie Taylor, all residing in the Carolinas, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews throughout the United States.

While we could not properly say farewell on her journey to heaven, she left us with this simple message: “When our race is finished, a new season will give birth. This present house shall fade; the moment we leave earth. When our race is finished, God speaks of what’s to come. Enjoying all the ages, in glory with the Son. Heaven is preparing, someday we’ll leave this place. That great cloud of witnesses will greet us face to face.”

See you soon Patti, you are loved!
