Patricia
Wolter
December 1, 1949 – May 21, 2026
Patricia Ann Wolter passed away peacefully on May 21st at Miller Pointe in Mandan, ND - her battle with Alzheimer's is finally over.
Patty's life and the beginning of many adventures and lifelong friendships began in Watertown, SD. It was there she met the love of her life, Keith Wolter. They were married in 1975 and began their life together in Fargo, ND.
Five years later, their beautiful daughter, Lisa Beth was born. She adored and was very proud of Lisa and her grandchildren, Wyatt, Brooklyn and Easton. Patty and Keith never missed a chance to be a part of Lisa and her children's lives growing up. Whether that be cheering from the stands at Lisa's swim meets, traveling for many dance recitals and competitions, music programs, school events, etc. she was an important and constant presence in her loved one's daily lives. To be closer to them, Patty and Keith permanently moved to Bismarck in 2019, into their forever home, in which Patty used her fantastic eye for design and took great pride into designing and· decorating their beautiful home.
Patty's retirement from FBS (Financial Business Systems) in 2008, where she worked since 1979, gave her more free time to spend extra time with her beloved grandchildren, and to do the things she loved most.
Patty loved to travel, taking many family trips with Keith, Lisa, her two sisters (Pennie and Pamela) and her parents (Francis and Irene Serck). She had a couple of favorite destinations - the lakes area near Brainerd, and exploring the beautiful islands of Hawaii, where unforgettable memories were made.
Patty took great pride in her Fargo home as well - the backyard was always a beautiful oasis with flowers and plants lovingly picked, something she looked forward to every year. And the perfect gathering place for family and friends. She loved having her family come to stay, her nephews and nieces (Josh, Hollie, Kevin, Katie, Matt and Ashleigh) loved every minute of their time together, where a lifetime of memories where made for all.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Keith; daughter, Lisa Hustad; grandchildren, Wyatt, Brooklyn and Easton Hustad; sister, Pamela (Jim) Vose; 6 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Irene Serck; sister, Pennie (Dave) Nelson. Private services will be held at a later date. The family has asked that anyone wishing to make a donation do so to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to the dedicated staff at Miller Pointe Long Term Care facility and especially to Jessie Beckler, RN for the comfort and dedicated care she provided to Patty during her time there.
