Paul R. Schneider, 64, Bismarck, ND, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2024, at his home.
Visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Service in Bismarck on Tuesday, February 13 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
A Funeral Outside of Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 14 at 10:30 am, at Parkway Funeral Service in Bismarck, with lunch to follow.
Burial will be held at 1:30 PM, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Steele, ND.
Paul was born on January 28, 1960 to Ray and Lois Schneider in Sacramento, CA. In 1961, the family moved to Steele, ND, where Paul attended school, graduating in 1978.
In 1978, Paul married Renee Lipp, and in the following years, they had three children, Christopher, Nicole and Kyle. Their family moved to Bismarck in 1983, where Paul has resided since. Paul worked as a long time union pipefitter and retired in 2019.
Paul was a kind and helpful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping and fishing on the water with his friend, Gary Rixen.
Paul is survived by his mother, Lois Schneider; children, Christopher (Dana) Schneider, Nicole (Andrey) Borkovskiy, and Kyle Schneider; grandchildren, Emmalyn and Isabelle Schneider, and Sofia, Nikolai and Alina Borkovskiy: sisters, Carole (Mike) Ries and Candace (John) Ulmer; mother-in-law, Delores Thompson; brothers-in-law Berent (Nancy) Thompson and Russ Hellman; sister-in-law, Sharon Lipp; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Renee Schneider; father, Ray Schneider; grandparents Ben and Anna Kunkel and Leo and Barbara Schneider; father-in-law, George Lipp; brother-in-law, Keith Lipp; and sister-in-law, Melissa Hellman.
