Phyllis Kepler

Phyllis Lorraine Kepler, 69, Bismarck, went to heaven on July 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one hour prior.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Phyllis was born on December 8, 1953 to Donald and Esther (Frey) Stewart in Bismarck. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School with the Class of 1974.

Phyllis enjoyed volunteering in the gift shop at Fort Lincoln State Park which is where she met her future husband, Keith. On November 23, 1984, Phyllis married Keith Kepler in Bismarck. Together they enjoyed going on evening rides and traveling – her most memorable trip was to Disneyland. Phyllis and Keith spent many consecutive years attending the Medora Musical.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Keith, Bismarck; and siblings, Allen (Ellen) Stewart, Littleton, CO, John (Debbie) Stewart, Crystal, MN, and Trudy Stewart (Dan) Gabel, Watertown, SD; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Esther; sister-in-law, Cindy Stewart; and special companion, her parakeet Tweety.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Society on Sunset Drive in Mandan for the loving care given to Phyllis.
