Renee Klipfel of Bismarck died September 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Cremation has taken place.
Renee was born March 25, 1959, to Hubert and Mary Ellen (Turner) Kulla. She was born and raised in Kensal ND and graduated from Kensal High School in 1977.
After graduation she married Mark Kiefel and they had a son, Brock. Renee later married Todd Klipfel and made their home in Bismarck.
Renee valued her work ethic and her work family both past and current. She started her career in Jamestown ND at High Acres Manor, then Missouri Slope Nursing Home, and was currently employed for the last 20 plus years at Burleigh County Social Services.
Renee greatest joys came from her son Brock, daughter in law Brandy, and her 3 grandsons Ayden, Tayven, and Ryker. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. She loved watching their sporting events, school functions, and just simply watching them grow up. She loved to travel and spend time in the Black Hills when possible. She was happy to have spent one last vacation with Brock, Brandy, and the boys by attending the ND State Fair this summer as a family. Renee also loved watching storms roll in. If there was a storm on the horizon, she made sure we all knew.
She is survived by her son Brock (Brandy); grandchildren, Ayden, Tayven, and Ryker; mother, Mary Ellen Kulla; brother, Robb (Deone) Kulla; sisters, Barb (Dean) Messmer and Judy Kulla; nieces and nephews, Steve (Shirley) Messmer, Jessica (Anthony) Baumgartner, Tara (Dan) Haugen, and Ryan Kulla; uncle Herman (Jean) Kulla; aunts, Sharon (Harry) Sherlock, Joanne Turner, Ruth (Dale) Hamilton and Jane Kulla; and many dear cousins, great nieces and nephews, coworkers, and friends.
She is preceded into death by her father, Hubert Kulla, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
