Roger Donis, 85, Bismarck, passed away November 22, 2024. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 27 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. Family will greet guests one hour prior.

Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Roger Larry Donis was born November 28, 1938 in Havre, Montana. He attended North Fork school in his elementary years. He continued his education in Chinook, Montana. Immediately after high school. Roger enlisted in the Army, where he served his country for two years until his honorable discharge.

On October 31, 1959 he married Norma Beard. They were happily married for 65 years.

In his spare time, Roger enjoyed traveling, camping, and woodworking.

Roger is survived by his wife, Norma; daughter, Sandra Donis Hancock; sons, Larry (Bonnie) Donis and Rick (Sue Ann) Donis; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Friede.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Hancock; sister, Rhoda Bosch; and his parents.
