Rose Ann M. Kerzman, 91, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 in Mesa, AZ.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 5-7:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with a vigil service starting at 7:00 PM.
Rose Ann was the sixth of eight children born to Mary (Stein) and Frank Theis, on December 30, 1933 on a farm Northwest of Eden Valley, Minnesota. She attended parochial grade school and Eden Valley high school. After graduation, she lived and worked in downtown Minneapolis for ATT Telegraph from 1952 to 1955.
On July 9, 1955, she married Ralph Kerzman. They were married almost 50 years when Ralph died of cancer on March 15, 2005. In 1972, after years of caring for her family, she went to work in food service, spending the last 20 years, as food manager at the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy, before retiring in 1996.
After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering fixing hair at St. Vincent’s nursing home and working at the soup kitchen. She crocheted many afghans for family members. She was a member of the Bismarck Elks and of Cathedral Church since 1955, where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters and served at funeral luncheons. Rose Ann enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle, scrabble and she loved to travel. Since 2006, she has spent the winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Rose Ann is survived by daughter, Mary Kraft (Bob Rafferty), Bismarck ND; sons, Steve (Cindy) Kerzman, Jordan, MN, Paul (Sandy) Kerzman, Bismarck, ND, Joe (Cheryll) Kerzman, New Brighton, MN and John (Renee) Kerzman, Detroit Lakes, MN; daughter-in-law, LuAnn Kerzman, Norwood Young America MN; 14 Grandchildren, Jamie (Randi) Kraft, Ashley Kraft, Kayla (Matt) Neibauer, Curt (Ashley) Kerzman, Nick (Rachel) Kerzman, Breanna (Jake) Hemstrom, Dorrian (Sophia) Kerzman, Cameron Kerzman, Chris (Stephanie) Kerzman, Ben (Jessica) Kerzman, Laura (Matt) Kerzman; Karli (Elora) Kerzman; Jake (Bailee) Kerzman and Tate Kerzman; 21 great grandchildren, Trystan Hagen, Bailey Kraft, Ashton Kraft, Rowan Grinsteinner, Myles Bergenheier, Kimberly and Kelsey Kerzman, Reagan and Rhett Neibauer, Harvey, Elias and Clara Kerzman, Danny, Clayton and Lincoln Kerzman, Wesley, Zechariah, Carl, Veah and Forrest Hemstrom and Evelyn Hazel Kerzman. Rose Ann is also survived by her brother, Francis (Helen) Theis, Eden Valley, MN and sister, Marion Nohner, Grey Eagle, MN and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Theis; husband, Ralph Kerzman; son, Charles (Chuck) Kerzman; granddaughter, Paige Kerzman; sisters, Margie Kerzman, Florence Rademacher and Sister Marie Theis and brothers, Lawrence and Sylvester Theis. She was also preceded in death by in- law’s, Pete (Marion) Nohner, Paul (Margaret) Kerzman, Aloys (Florence) Rademacher, Francis (Anne) Kerzman, Margaret (Art) Brigman, Jim (Ione) Kerzman, Grace (Bill) Burk, Rita (Harley) Vreeland and Irene (Jim) Wilcox.
