Salina Pfaff, 60, a lifelong resident of Bismarck, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 1, 1965, Salina was the eldest of two daughters to William and Irene Senger. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating from Century High School in 1983. In her younger years, Salina had a passion for travel—each year, her family would embark on a new adventure, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. She especially treasured time spent with her grandparents and cousins, forming bonds that remained strong throughout her life.
In 1985, Salina welcomed her daughter Shannon, followed soon after by her second daughter, Shelby in 1991 — her two favorite people in the world. As a devoted single mother, Salina poured her heart into raising her girls, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable holiday traditions. Halloween held a special place in her heart, and the memories she made with her daughters during that time will be forever treasured.
Salina worked alongside her father for many years at the Corral Bar, later continuing her career at The Bismarck Tribune and Finley Engineering. She was known for her strong work ethic, her kindness, and her ability to make those around her feel valued and loved.
She was a devoted mother, a caring and thoughtful daughter, an adored sister, a fun-loving aunt, and a loyal friend to many. Salina loved and cherished her grandchildren; she was a kind, wise, and endless loving grandma. She filled her grandchildren’s lives with stories, joy, warmth, and made each one feel unconditionally cared for and loved. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Salina is survived by her mother, Irene Senger; daughters Shannon (Jacob) Willer and Shelby Pfaff, both of Mandan; sister Kim (Steve) Ellison of Bismarck; grandchildren Jaxon, Aurora, Lilly, Annabel, and Jameson; and niece and nephew Kayla, Cole Ellison, and Aunt Arlene (Pius) Keller.
Salina is preceded in death by her father William Senger; grandparents Theresa and Joseph Senger and Barb, Anton Schweitzer, and cherished aunts and uncles.
Her legacy of love, strength, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
