Obituary

Sally Hagen, age 77, of Bismarck ND, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck ND, followed by fellowship in the Community Room at Parkway. 

Sally was born in Bismarck on August 28, 1947. She graduated from Bismarck High in 1965. Sally then graduated from UND in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. 

She was married to John Hagen. They had two daughters Michelle (Jon Goetze) Hagen and Dyana Hagen. Sally worked in Nursing in Grand Forks, ND, and Devils Lake ND. Sally moved to Bismarck where she worked as the Director of Activities at St. Vincent’s Care Center and directly with her clients for 20+ years. Sally retired from St. Vincent’s but returned part time to care for and enhance the lives of others.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Dyana and her sister, Irene Hendrickson, brother-in-law Ted Heinert, brother and sister in-law Steve and Elyse Hagen, sister in-laws Suzi Hagen and Joan Hagen, and nephews and nieces. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hagen; her parents, George and Emma Claridge; two sisters, Shirley-Ann Willard and Nanette Heinert; one brother, George Jr. Claridge; four brothers-in-law, Robert Hagen, James Hagen, Lawrence Willard, Jon Hendrickson; one sister-in-law, Sandy Hagen, one nephew, Peter Hagen; in-laws Pat and Ella Kalinowski, and many friends.
