Samantha Osmundson

Samantha Marie (Weisbeck) Osmundson, 35, Bismarck, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2025. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 30 at Parkway Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held at a later date.

Samantha was born on April 24, 1990 to Frank and June (Newcomb) Weisbeck in Bismarck, ND. She graduated from high school in 2008 and graduated from BSC in 2010. She went on to get her CMA license where she pursued a career in nursing care. She recently became the Activities Director at Augusta Place, Bismarck.

Samantha married Samuel Osmundson on February 4, 2019. Together they were raising their son Franklin (the joy of her life).

One of Samantha’s greatest joys in life was her family. She found great pleasure in coming up with ideas and activities for her son Franklin and for the many family gatherings from the Fourth of July to our White Elephant Christmas party.

As a family they enjoyed bowling, and many outdoor activities. Her creativity was endless, which carried over to her job at Augusta Place where she took pride in working with the many residents. Augusta Place was more like a second home to her as she considered many of her co-workers as family. Samantha, Samuel, and Franklin spent their weekends with her parents Frank and June sharing family time together.

Samantha is survived by her husband Samuel, son Franklin, and step-daughter Siera Bigalke; parents Frank and June (Newcomb) Weisbeck; brother Tanner Weisbeck, brothers-in-law David and Shawn Brokke; Grandmother Kathleen Weisbeck; Aunts Jo Weisbeck, Cheryl Aker, Sandy Newcomb, and Theresa Weisbeck; Uncles Don (Becky) Newcomb, Scott (Judy) Newcomb and close cousins Tonya Newcomb, Heather Glass, Alicia Voltz, and Alyssa Weisbeck; many great aunts and uncles; Mother-in-law Linda Brokke.

Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents: Wendell and Marie Newcomb, Joseph Weisbeck; Uncles Daniel Newcomb and Peter Weisbeck
