Sandra “Sandy” Adney, 65, Bismarck, died December 2, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.Private family services were held. Sandy was born on March 25, 1952 to Otis and Donna (Kennedy) Pledger in Devils Lake, ND where she grew up and received her education. She loved to spend time with family and friends and her furry animals. She enjoyed working at the Baptist Home in Bismarck as a CNA for 20 years, taking care of the elderly and was adored by her many clients. She enjoyed playing corn hole, darts, cards, spending time with family and close friends. She spent many hours at Prairie Knights Casino with her family (where she worked for the casino, worked by donating her time and money). Sandy will be deeply missed by her son, David (Kim) Ozuna and granddaughter Claudia, of Dallas, TX; the love of her life Dwight Erickson of 22 years sister, Ruth Stewart, Bismarck, ND; brother, Larry Pledger, Minot, ND; and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and clients from the Baptist Home. Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Linda Bachmeier of Devils Lake, ND.
