Sharon "Shari" Roness, 77, Bismarck, passed away December 31, 2025. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 12 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck.

Sharon Joyce Love was born December 19, 1948 to Edith (Merritt) and Leonard Love in Washington. Shortly after, her family relocated to Billings, Montana where she received her education from Billings Public Schools. She later attended cosmetology school in Billings.

On September 4, 1970 Shari married Douglas Roness and the two began their life together in Billings. Later in life, they moved their family to Grand Forks, Mankato, MN, Beulah, Center and Bismarck.

Shari was a wonderful homemaker. She cared deeply for her two children and kept her family as her number one priority. Shari and Doug were active in their children and grandchildrens’ lives, often attending their school and sport activities. The family made many lasting memories on their group trips, with some favorite destinations to Florida, Arizona and California.

She was a fun, loving person who valued family time, especially during the holidays. She particularly enjoyed playing BINGO.

Shari is survived by her husband, Doug; daughter, Nicole (Jody) Murschel; son, Justin (Sherrice); grandchildren, Preston, Sabrina, Tyler (MiKayla), Kaden and Kynzlee; two great-grandchildren, Beckham and Samson; and brother, Stephen Love.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ron.
