Shirley (Berger) Lee, 79, Mandan, died September 5, 2019, at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Sunday, September 8, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will begin at 6:00 pm.

Private family burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Shirley was born April 12, 1940, the daughter of Tim and Pauline (Gaab) Berger in Mandan, ND. She was raised and attended schools in Mandan. Shirley married Orville T. Lee and spent their years in Mandan raising their family. She liked to travel, go to the casino, loved to entertain and enjoyed cooking German meals for her family.

Shirley is survived by her children, Tim Hansen, Tamme (Steven) Sweringen, Terry (Stephanie) Sauers, and Teddy Jo (Gloria) Sauers; her 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bernice, Joe, Tom, Viola, Donald and Donna; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; her parents, Tim and Pauline; her brother, Jerry; and three grandchildren, Sonda, Chance, and Tina.
