Shirley Ann Madche

Shirley Ann Madche, 63, Bismarck, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway.

Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 25 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan . 

Shirley was born on December 10, 1959 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Rodney and Martha (Prindle) Williams. She was raised and educated in Wing, graduating from Wing High School in 1978. She then attended Bismarck Junior College in Bismarck and started working various jobs, including at Hobarth, Dominoes, Walmart, Cashwise and others. On May 21, 1988, she married Charles Madche.  Shirley loved being a wife to Charles and mom to Jason, Derek, Nathan, Trent and Mandy. Charles was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and Shirley eventually became his primary caregiver. Charles passed away on August 14, 2020. 

More often than not, you would see Shirley with her Kindle in hand, reading books. She enjoyed romance, fantasy and fiction the most. She also enjoyed coloring and playing mobile games. Shirley was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time spoiling her dog, Kai.

She is survived by her sons, Jason (Nora Barabas) Williams, Derek Madche, Nathan Madche and Trent Madche; daughter, Mandy (Nick) Sioringas; four grandchildren, Elias Williams, Connor, Andrew and Jessa Sioringas; siblings, Edwin (Mary) Williams, Jerry (Dollyn) Williams, Sharon (James) Casson and Susan (David) Green and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; son Mitch Isaac Madche; parents, Rodney and Martha Williams and siblings, Robert Williams and Donald Williams; mother and father in-law, Rudolph and Lois Madche; sister-in-law Louise Williams and special friend Corrine Williams.
