Timothy Anderson, 70, passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2026, at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway Bismarck, ND.

Timothy was born on December 15, 1955, to John and Katherine Anderson and grew up in the rural landscape north of Regan, North Dakota. He graduated from Wilton High School in 1974 and married the love of his life, Glenda Anderson, in 1982. To this union they welcomed two sons, Aaron and Jason. 

Timothy dedicated much of his career to working as an airplane mechanic, utilizing his keen skills and knowledge. He later embraced the role of a stay-at-home dad, contributing to his family with love and dedication. An accomplished cook, Timothy also found solace in gardening, canning, woodworking, and creating stained glass art as well as time with his grandkids. His passions were as diverse as his collections of rocks, stamps, coins, and more, showcasing his curiosity and appreciation for the world around him.

Timothy was a caring and generous individual, whose warm spirit touched the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Glenda; his sons, Aaron (Jennifer Anton) Anderson and Jason (McKenzie) Anderson; and his four cherished grandchildren, Brekken, Rieken, Syler, and Kelty. Timothy is also survived by his brothers, Miles Anderson and Jim (Colleen) Anderson; his sister, Lois (Les) Keator, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine Anderson; his brother, LaVerne Anderson; and his sister-in-law, Arliss Anderson.

Memorials can be made to the Bismarck Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
