Obituary

Timothy Robert Hintz passed away at home on March 14, 2026, at the age of 70. He fought lung cancer for the past four years.

Tim, as he was known, was born on November 3, 1955, in Minot, ND, to Robert C. and Dorothy (Dennis) Hintz. Tim was the first born of 3 children.

Tim married Victoria Miner on May 19, 2025, in Bismarck, ND. She was the love of his life.

Tim served in the US Army as a Private from 1975-1976, when he was medically discharged.

Tim took pleasure in playing baseball. He pitched for the American Legion Baseball Team for 1 season. He was an avid bowler and bowled on several leagues throughout his life. He was an animal lover, dogs and cats, and had many of them. Tim enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed traveling to Sturgis SD for the Motorcycle Rally and riding his motorcycle all around the Black Hills. Tim also enjoyed car racing on TV and watching Professional Wrestling.

Tim worked several jobs throughout his life. He delighted in working with his father and brother at B&L Meat Market. He worked for Arrowhead Cleaners for numerous years and at the Elks Club in Bismarck until he retired.

Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, Victoria. his stepdaughter, Brianna, stepson, Treavis, 3 step grandchildren, Liam, Hazel and Jade, whom he adored very much. His sister, Susan E McClure, Spearfish SD, brother, Ronald S (Deb) Hintz, Bismarck ND. 3 nieces, 1 nephew and many cousins.

Tim was preceded in death his parents and grandparents.
