Todd Reinhardt

December 15, 1962 — August 12, 2025

Bismarck

Todd Reinhardt passed away August 12, 2025 after a short battle with aggressive cancer. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 15 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck with visitation starting at 10:30 am. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hazen.

Todd was born December 15, 1962 in Bismarck to Elmer and Irene (Wentz) Reinhardt. He was raised and educated in Sterling through elementary school then rode the bus to Bismarck, graduating from Century High School in 1981.

He worked various jobs, as a security guard at BisMan, a guard at the state penitentiary and as an assistant manager at Skippers. It was at Skippers, that a lesson from a gal on making coleslaw, turned into him marrying his best friend and love of his life, Raedell Kruckenberg, on September 21, 1991, at United Methodist Church, Bismarck.

Todd eventually found his career at Front Street Millwork and Lumber and wore many hats throughout the years. He retired as the Operations Manager in 2013.

Todd enjoyed many hobbies, including camping and traveling to Wyoming, South Dakota and Minnesota. The quickest route was not the route Todd would take; he would venture off the beaten path and make every trip an adventure. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. For the past 10 years, Todd and Raedell rented a cabin in Devils Lake to get away and relax - this was Todd’s happy place.

Todd was a versatile person and had many interests. He collected many things throughout the years, and saw the value in each item he picked up. One of his collections was duck calls and decoys. In his spare time, he liked to make duck calls and eventually named his business CGC Classictone Game Calls. He made many connections through online groups with this hobby. He enjoyed reading and researching various topics, including history and researching his next travel destination. He was a history buff – Todd was the go to person to answer questions, not only on history, but any other thing they may want researched. Todd was the guy to do that. Among his various interests were cars and researching vehicles. In earlier years, deer hunting on the Kruckenberg farm with family members was something he always looked forward to.

Throughout his life, Todd faced many trials and tribulations, but he did not let these define him and always seemed to overcome his adversities. He had a kind and helpful heart – willing to help anyone around him.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Raedell; siblings, Constance “Connie” Bjelland, Yvonne (John) Heaton, Sherry (Dan) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Koreen “Peppy” Ressler and Kathy Reinhardt; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Kim (Tasha) Kruckenberg and David (Diane) Wells. Todd and Rae’s cats, Bandit, Smokey and Zipp were their fur babies and loved as their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ron and Gary; sister and brother-in-law, Ladonna and Bob Luyben.
