Tony Gross, 84, died on June 29, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 520 Raymond St, Bismarck. 

Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck, with a vigil/rosary beginning at 7 p.m.

Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.

Tony was born on January 25, 1941 to Raphael and Mary Gross of Burnstad, ND.

Tony married Sharon (Wahl) Gross on June 3, 1967. Tony was employed with the Dakota National Bank and North Dakota DOT.

He graduated from Napoleon High School and the University of Jamestown.

Tony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; son, Jeff (Julie); his two daughters, Lisa, Deborah (James); a granddaughter, Courtney; sisters-in-law, Medy Gross and Julie Wahl; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Raphael and Mary Gross; brother, John Gross; nephew, Darren Gross; grandson, Austin Gross-Weber; mother- and father-in-law, Sarah and Oliver Wahl; and brother-in-law, Jerry Wahl.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to God's Child Project or the Bismarck Cancer Center.
