Tony Zachmeier

Tony Allen Zachmeier, age 66, of Bismarck, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 2, 2025, At Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, June 1, 2025. A rosary service will begin at 6:00 PM. 

 Tony was born December 30, 1958, in Bismarck to Edward and Janice Zachmeier. He grew up in Mandan, North Dakota, and graduated from Mandan High School in 1977. 

He married Elizabeth (Betty) Feist on September 17, 1983; in his early years, he worked for Zachmeier Well Drilling and then for Melrow/Bobcat, retiring as a machinist. Tony enjoyed the History Channel and superhero comic books and co-owned the Stack & Zac Comic Store in Bismarck. He enjoyed taking his family camping and fishing, with a bit of partying on the side.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty Zachmeier, and two sons, Tyler and Riley Zachmeier. His mother, Janice Zachmeier, and two brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Zachmeier of Pierre, SD. Randy Zachmeier of Mandan, ND, one niece, Nicole (Ian) Farnsworth of Pierre, SD, and extended family.
