Vera Arves, 90, died July 10, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Home in Mandan.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 18, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Vera graduated from Beulah High School and went on to become a secretary in Hazen and then Bismarck. She married Maurice Arves in 1962.   She worked many years for the North Dakota Public Schools until her retirement. After retiring she and Maurice enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her two brothers; and her two sisters.
