Vicki Becker

Vicki Lynn Becker passed away on September 9, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 15, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery, Pollock, SD.

Vicki was born on April 21, 1965, in Mobridge, SD, to Henry and Myrna (Pool) Weber. She graduated from Pollock High School in 1983. After graduation, she moved to Bismarck, ND.

On October 4, 1986, Vicki married Mark Becker. Having grown up in a small town, Vicki had known Mark for many years—after all, in a small town, everyone knows everyone. Following their marriage, they made their home in the country.

Vicki worked as an office manager and legal secretary for about 20 years within the legal field. Earlier in her career, she also worked in insurance. For a brief time, she dedicated herself to helping others through her work with Ruth Meiers Hospitality House, a shelter for the homeless.

Vicki had the biggest heart. She always cared more about others than herself and was known for her generosity and giving spirit. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and she especially loved animals—particularly cats. She could often be found outside feeding the deer, squirrels, and stray cats that found their way to her yard.

She also enjoyed working with her hands and her creativity showed through many of her hobbies. Vicki loved remodeling and decorating the Victorian home she shared with Mark, baking, gardening, making ceramics, and creating jewelry.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Mark; mother, Myrna Weber; sisters, Cheryl (Roger) Kroh and Patty (Wes) Terpening; mother-in-law, Polly Becker; sisters-in-law, Cindy Terwilliger and Tammy (Rick) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Weber; father-in-law, Donald Becker; and niece, Jayda Terpening.
