Virginia "Ginny'' (Berger) Jones, 83, Bismarck, passed away on October 26, 2024.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, Nov. 4, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1919 N 2nd St, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, Nov. 3, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A vigil will begin at 6:30 PM.

Ginny was born on September 13, 1941 in New Salem, ND to Casper and Pauline Berger. She spent her childhood in New Salem. 

Ginny married Warren Jones on August 12, 1967. Together they had three sons, Wayne, Daniel and Craig. Ginny stayed at home and raised their children until 1980 at which time she went back to work as a waitress at The Prairie Schooner in the Kirkwood Mall. In 1986, Warren passed away. Ginny continued to work as a waitress at The AMVETS, the Wood House and later in life, Food Demos at Walmart.

Ginny is survived by her sons; Wayne (Jennifer) Jones, CA, Daniel (Michelle) Jones, NV, and Craig (Cari) Jones, OR; and sister, Mae Steele, NE.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Jones; parents and 15 brothers and sisters.
