Wendelin Bullinger, 88, Bismarck, passed away on May 15, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 24, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, 801 1st St SE, Mandan, with Rev. Chris Kadrmas officiating.A vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Cremation has taken place.Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Wendelin was born March 20, 1929, to John and Anna Bullinger, at St. Anthony, ND, where he was raised and educated. Wendelin married Helen Berger on March 28, 1951, making their home in Mandan. He retired in 1994 after 35 years with the City of Mandan, Public Works Department.Wendelin is survived by his four children, Dennis and Sandy Bullinger, Sandra and Henry Hurst, Wendelin Jr. and Donna Bullinger, Violet and Todd Marshall; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Helen Muth and Bernice Schmidt.He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents, John and Anna Bullinger; brothers, Edward, Leonard, and Raymond; sister, Katie Mindt; and grandson, Andy Bullinger.
