Wesley A. Long, 78, Bismarck, passed away on January 31, 2023. at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, Bismarck.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway.

Visitation will begin an hour before the service.

Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Wesley was born to Bernard and Naomi (Ruger) Long on August 2, 1944 in Lemmon, SD, where he lived most his life. Wesley worked on the farm until he started working for the city of Mandan. He retired after 50 years of service.

Wesley is survived by his son, Randy (Vicky) Long; grandsons, Brandon (Riley) Long and Dustin Long; great-grandkids, Harleigh and Jaxson Long; sisters, Bonnie Cahoon, Hazen, Gloria Englehorn, SD, Julie Long, MT, Carol (Neil) Lewis, MT and Cheryl Long, Fargo.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rondii Jo.
