William Beauclair Jr., also known as Bill or Jim, 73, of Bismarck, passed away on December 20, 2025.

Bill was born on February 3, 1952, in Minot, ND, to Meryl (Haavig) and William Beauclair Sr. He grew up in Minot and graduated from Bishop Ryan Catholic School. Bill played football in high school.

Following high school, Bill moved to Wolf Point, Montana, for work. He built a successful career as a Corrosion Engineer with MDU, eventually transferring to Bismarck, ND, where he continued his work until retiring in 2014.

Bill loved watching sports, especially football, and also enjoyed golfing. He had a deep love for horses and owned several throughout his life. His last horse, Sunny, held a special place in his heart.

Bill is survived by his son, William “Bill” Beauclair III; brothers, Greg Beauclair, Dave Beauclair, and Don Beauclair; sister, Blenda Burckhard; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
