William “Bill” Wald died peacefully with his family by his side on December 19, 2019, at a local hospital. Honoring Bill’s wishes, no services are planned.

Bill was born on October 27, 1942 at Napoleon, ND, son of Conrad and Alvina (Bosch) Wald. He grew up in Napoleon. On July 10, 1965, he married Frances Fischer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bismarck.  They made their home in Bismarck where Bill was the upholstery manager at Roughrider Industries.

Bill fulfilled his days with his passion for restoring cars specifically Plymouths. He was known for his professionalism and skill with his upholstery work.

Bill is survived by his wife Frances; two children Tonya (Steve) Melby, Howell, MI and Wesley (Angela) of Dexter, MI; three grandchildren Madison and Kelly Melby and Avery Wald; three brothers and 5 sisters.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
