Wilma Jennie (Langeliers) Davis was born April 12, 1943 in Emmons County, ND, to Lawrence and Katherine (Quenzer) Langeliers. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Pollock High School in 1961, and a secretarial course at Bismarck Junior College in 1962. She married Dale Davis in 1963 and to this union three sons were born.
The couple made their home in Deadwood and Lead, SD, until moving to Sacramento, CA, in 1965, where they resided for six years before returning to the Dakotas. Wilma worked at FmHA Office in Linton, ND for 20 years. Retirement years were spent in the country near the Missouri River, ¼ mile from where she was raised.
Wilma loved flowers and plants and enjoyed flower gardening. She loved the solitude of country living and spent many hours reading, writing on the computer, and quiet times with the Lord. The years were blessed with great family times and she delighted in them.
Wilma is survived by her children, Robbie, Bismarck, Ryan (Brenda), Minot, and Randal (Amy), Bismarck; grandchildren, D.J. (Casey), Brandon, Seth, Joel, Brett, Teya, Maryn, Devan and Dawson Davis; her siblings, Edward (Ann) Langeliers, Katherine (Howard) Sjomeling, Alice Slagh, Ruth (Kim) Stoecker; sister-in-law, Judy Hanson; and brother-in-law, Craig (Kathy) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her parents; and her brothers-in-law, Roger Hanson, Terry Davis, and Vernon Slagh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, 1825 47th St., Mandan, ND 58554.
