Wilma H. Schramm Thorson passed away on April 10, 2023, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center. Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 19, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at the Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan.

Wilma was born to Peter & Lydia Mohl in Hazen, ND, on December 24, 1926.

Wilma worked for the State of North Dakota for 26 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Arlyce Wells, Jan Klipfel, Jocelyn Flakker, all of Yuma, AZ, and Renita (Rick) Casey, Keizer, OR, and one stepdaughter, Mary Jane Thorson, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Newton Schramm; her second husband, Harvey Thorson; sisters, Greta Gutknecht, Eunice Malke, and Calma Mohl; sons-in-law, Chuck Flakker, Dennis Klipfel, and Danny Wells; and one grandson, Charles Umpleby. 

In lieu of flowers/donations the family requests memorials be sent to their favorite charity.
