Orville Jacobson, 86, of Wing, ND, passed away on February 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Orville was born on September 6, 1935, in the Turtle Lake Hospital to Carl and Ethel Jacobson (Hanvold). Orville worked at Butte International for four years.  Orville married Alice Bentz on August 29, 1955. They made their home on a farm north of McClusky, ND, until 1962. They then purchased a farm 5 miles northwest of Wing, ND.  Together they raised four children, Gerald, Betty, Roy, and Ray.

Orville raised cattle and enjoyed working with horses.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 66 years Alice; children, Gerald (Marie), Betty, Roy (Nancy), and Ray (Phyllis); 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, and one sister.
